The Sweetest Kind of Rush Order

Some orders are exciting because of the design.

Some are exciting because of the occasion.

And then there are the orders that make you stop what you’re doing because you know you’re getting to be part of a family memory that will be treasured forever. 

A sweet customer reached out on a Monday asking if I could create a custom embroidered announcement bodysuit in time for their maternity photos scheduled last week that same week.  Of course, the answer was yes. 

By Tuesday, it was already in her hands.

Not because she demanded a rush order.

Not because there was pressure.

But because I was genuinely excited and care for them.

As a handmade business owner, there's something really special about being trusted with life's biggest moments.  New babies.  Announcements.  Teacher gifts.  Team celebrations.  Keepsakes that end up tucked away in memory boxes years later. 

And this one felt especially meaningful.

Seeing the final professional photos made it all feel real. A simple embroidered onesie became part of the moment they shared their growing family with the people they love most.

That’s the part of handmade work people don’t always see.

Behind every stitched design is a real family, a real story, and someone trusting me with a piece of it.

I’ll never take that lightly.
