How HazzardousHousewife began

Have you ever accidentally stumbled onto something great?

That is exactly what happened to me.

During our first year of marriage I bought an embroidering machine on a whim thinking: "How hard could it really be?"  I was under the false assumption that sewing would be easy and all I would need is a little thread and some fabric.  I didn't even know what a bobbin was!

I am a self taught crafter who started with zero knowledge or experience.  I taught myself via youtube and blogs to learn a little bit at a time.  My abilities and success have grown and I feel like the sky is the limit.  I now can sew on a professional level and love every moment I get to spend creating.  

The shop name came about when I started a blog to show off the fun things I was starting to make.  While I was a working professional (a teacher by trade) I was also a young newly wed wife with the last name of Hazzard--therefore Hazzardoushousewife was born. 

My husband is very kind and supportive of my crafting.  Our 4 daughters enjoy modeling the creations as well!
